      Animated performance trends.

What would be a realistic series of movements in the animated portion of PT's software. To keep it simple until I am used to it, I have only given it 1" of dive prior to 2* of roll. That, I think, would represent coming off the gas, braking hard and turning into a corner.
Also is there a way to plug sway bar diameter in? Could a person fake it by just upping the spring rates?
What kind of a CG does everyone think a 65 Chevelle w/BB has?
Anything close to the early Camaros?

      Thanks, Doug

I think you'd see 2" dive and 3 deg of roll with a somewhat soft setup. Our Hotchkis TVS 73 Camaro was in that range on DOT race tires.

Get your anti-roll bar dimensions, then click menu item "vehicle specs", then click the Front Suspension tab, on the lower left there is entry for the bar rate in lbs. or hit "Calc" and a calculator pops up to calculate bar rate from dimenions, click use calc values and it will be entered for you.

I'd guess most later 60's GM cars had a roll center height at ground level to 1.5" above it.

Rule of thumb for finding CoG is to measure the camshaft centerline to ground distance and use that. I went through the trouble of calculating the Elco and it took the better part of a Saturday morning...was only an inch off from the camshaft.

I'm looking at a bare chassis. No cam to measure to
