For those who are interested there is a nice story on how to build your own center console in the May issue of Popular HotRodding. They have the folks from the American Mucsle Cars built one in a 67 Tempest. Nice job and looks pretty simple. While I'm still reading the story I may end up selling my 68/9 Camaro console i was going to use in my 67 'Bird if I think I can do this.
