      Input needed on caliper mounting

I'm mocking up my rear brakes and found out with the quadra link and baer brakes I can only install the caliper in one position where it will not run into suspension or wheel well clearance problems. Here is a couple of pics.

      1. Does caliper position make a difference on braking performance?

      2. The stainless brake line is not very flexable and I'm concerned about problems with the floating caliper binding due to the brake line. I dont have alot of room to work with, How much play should I have with the line hooked up? Would a longer line with a good sized loop be in order?

I've seen cars with the calipers mounted all over. Even on the same car. They have to be the same side to side in my opinion, at least for looks. Also some people don't even use any flexible line to the calipers at all.

As long as the bleeder fitting is higher than the brake line fitting you should be OK.
