      Kore3 hybrid setup

Just received my brake kit from Kore3 the other day after selling my CPP kit. For about the same price as the CPP kit, I was able to get C5 Z06 calipers, DBA 14"/13" drilled/slotted rotors, billet hubs, all the brackets, etc., etc. It'll be another week or two before I can mock them up on the car, but I'm super impressed with the quality of everything so far. I must have spent 2 hours on the phone with Tobin asking questions and he was always very patient. Took a while to ship but I think that's because the DBA rotors were on back order. Will post pics shortly.

Whoa, the hybrid kit has a 14/13 combo? Did you get this kit installed yet?

I'm also interested in the 14" C5 DBA setup. I have conversion brackets and I'm planning on doing C6 Z51 stuff with Kore3 C5/C6 calipers on my fourth gen, but the Z51 stuff is only a 13.4" rotor.

      I went with Kore3 C6 Z06 option

I put C6 Z06 six psitons up front, 4 piston C6 rear, bought from ebay, bought Kore3, adapters, Rotors, hubs, lines, Prop valve, bearings, and screw in studs. All are on my 1973 Camaro Z28, with 19x9 / 20x11 Bonspeeds wheels, total cost for brakes $1750, for a 2007 Z06 Brake set that looks sick, WAY BETTER than anything out there for the cost...taking pics on Saturday...

I can't find the hybrid kit on Kore3's website, do you have a link?

There isn't really a link to the hybrid kit. There is a fitment template, you need to select the big brake kit with the spindle you are using, then change the components accordingly.

A lot of times you can find someone on corvetteforum.com that has stockers they took off to put on Baer or something else and they go pretty cheap as well.

what size spacer did you have to run up front? I'm thinking of doing the C6 Z06 kit for my car but i'm not too fond of having to run a spacer. Is there anything else that I would watch out for as far as selecting wheels and what not? thanks

      Hi Eric,
I also ran Kore3 prodcuts, specifically their 7076 big bearing hub with 14mm studs, and the big brake bracket that bolts onto my stock (modified) spindle. I bolted on the Wilwood 6-piston kit and it fit perfectly. Tobin does great work, and his customer service is hard to beat!

I'm running 18" Forgelines with C5/C5. Some day I plan to go to a bigger Wilwood or C6 Z06 setup.

Wheel spacer: I have 19x10 w/7.625 backspacing, using the Wilwood 6-piston kit plus a 0.25" spacer. I have room for about 1 more inch inward, and my new tires demand it! Wheel/tire edge is a little over 1 inch in from the outer fender edge.
