      Intake Tightening Sequence

      I need the tightening sequence for a chevy big block intake (edelbrock)- yes my hands are dirty!

      It is basically a expanding circle from the centermost bolts out.

      It should be 25 lbs. ft, lubed with antiseize, but the pattern is right. Here ya go:

      I rather use liquid teflon thread sealant, if I had not used a cast iron intak on my 402 the aluminum one I chose would have been trashed ugly in a month (as I was out of threadsealant), but luckily the intake had to come back off and I resealed it right.
      I have never had a Chevy V8 ever not leak up through the bolts threads unless they are sealed.
