      Nice 67 Mustang

Just thought I would share some more pictures of a Mustang that pulled into the last show I attended back in the fall. He Parked right next to me. Reason I bring it up is the 67 coupe that I am building right now will have a similar paint color with the stripes. But it will have the FR500 wheels on it and I believe the blue we are shooting on will be darker. Pretty nice car but the engine bay needed to be detailed out/cleaned up better when I saw it that day.
      enjoy...

I am not a Mustang guy...but I will say that is a very nice car. I like the color/stripe combo.

I saw a red '67 coupe like mine. I was so pissed all day. I've let my dad daily drive it since he likes it so much. Just like the one behind it!!!! lol. but that's a '68, I can see the side marker lights.

Yeah I know what you mean by not being a Mustang guy. I never was either...Until I built mine. Now I love the 67/68s. But I still am going to build me a 68 Camaro to match my stang one of these days.

I like the blue too, I'm looking at a similar blue - HOK Cobalt with Pearl White shelby stripes with slight silver pinstripes on the stripe edges. Or I might do the reverse. I wanna see how the renderings come out.

They made 472,121 Mustangs in 1967. Most of them were coupes, and red was probably the most popular color. I guess you are lucky it's 2007, because if you were around back in the day, you would be pissed off every waking second.

I had some old ones but they weren't any good. I'll try to take one with my new phone in the next few days. Its a red, originally powder/light blue, '67 notchback, automatic with center console, AC, 289 2 barrel originally, now 1069 302 bored 0.040" over = 308 with edelbrock performer carb and intake.

      Kevin,
Yeah I have seen your car. Very nice. The car I am building is a friend of mine and he wanted chrome...I would not have done chrome myself but this is his car and I told him that he must build it the way he wants it. But I did finally convice him to get at least 17s and set it up with the right stance. At first he wanted to do 16x8s all the way around. Took a while but I finally changed his mind....
