      LS1 quick question

I'm cosidering doing the ls1 swap. I've done a lot of reading and just want to be clear before buying parts. I already have the drum spindle and hub. Is this everything that I'll need on my parts list? My biggest question is about the calipers themselves. I'm looking at buying some used off of ls1tech.com. Is there a caliper on the camaro that fits 13" rotors or am I gonna have to get corvette calipers.

ls1 and c5 calipers are pretty much the same. the c5's have a little more rib bracing and smaller pistons. however to run a 13" rotor you will need new abutments. iirc the ls1 rotor is 12". the new abutment will move the caliper out .5"

why not just go with the c5 stuff?

      The LS1 is 12". C4 is 12" or 13" (heavy duty option).

      I mouted 13"/C4 on 16" V45 VWW rims using a 1/4" spacer. A C5 won't fit due to the ribbing.
