Remember for pump flow as pressure increases, flow (from the pump) decreases. So the same pump becomes effectively smaller going from carbureted to EFI.
Q2=Q1 x SQRT (P1/P2) where Q1 is flow rate at pressure P1 and P2 is desired working pressure.
Youre going to be returning a lot of fuel back to the tank to get a pump that will work with EFI to run a carburetor.

Do you think it would be a good idea to install a carb pump first and then upgrade to an efi pump when I do the conversion?
