      AAW front harness question

Alright I have a question for all those people that have this kit. I have the classic update kit for my 67 RS SS camaro and i even got the additional kit for the RS that was an extra 150. My question is that I am installing the front light harness and it says nothing about light relays so what do i do. I mean i do have the old relays for the car. Do I not use relays do I get modern ones or do I use the old ones from the car and how are they wired. Any help would be appreciated

It all depends on the lights you are using. If you're using standard halogens, you don't need the relays. If you're using high output lights, like 100w/90w bulbs instead of 65w/55w bulbs, you need the relays. You could call AAW and see if they have an additional harness just for this purpose.

      Hi Brandon,
The extra lighting harness kit, 500773, for the RS electric H/L motors is just that, the harness only. The harness is designed to work with your original H/L relays and the correct 10amp Circuit breaker.

It is also designed to work with all of the original Limit switches that allow the doors to open and close. The full color instructions that are supplied with that kit will be very helpful in knowing which wires go on which terminals on each and every limit switch, relay, and the breaker. Should you require extra help or clarification, give me a call and I'll connect you to my tech guy.

      Have a nice weekend!
