Cheap 5 speed?

I know, I know, another thread about T5's.

I did a search and it looks like the general consensus is that the world class units can survive if I don't powershift or run sticky tires. Fine by me as I don't plan to powershift and I'm not wasting money on the stock rearend.

Basically, my friend has one out of a mid to late 90's Camaro. I'm assuming it's a world class unit because the input shaft is 26 spline. I may have miscounted but the output looked to be 27? Anyway, it doesn't have a bellhousing. So what would I need to do to mate it to a 350 in a 69 Nova? Do I need a special bellhousing? What crossmember will work? Looks like it's the same length as a 700-r4, so I'm assuming I can get a crossmember and trans mount for a 700-r4 and be good to go?

I know I should just get a TKO-600, and that's the transmission that I ultimately plan on using, but I need to use premium to avoid detonation, and the gas prices are rising, so I figure if I can get everything I need for less than a grand, I'll be money ahead.
