      PINKS F-Body vs G-Body

The turbo G-Body is pretty cool. I like how the 4th Season is going.

Yep, last's nights show was pretty good. I really like how they used the data logger. It would be nice if all cars had that option. I like how they said the TPS was 100% the entire run. That way you don't have some guy sand bagging. I really wanted to see the engine on the turbo car, i guess I missed it.

Those were some good races until the g-body faltered on the last run. I thought for sure it was gonna be a photo finish.

Nice runs!! I love your car..

Are you running a/r trackstars? They didnt really show much footage of your wheels.. but tons of the other guys welds.

I have trackstars on my car and I love the design of that wheel.

Yes they are the A/R Trackstars ( the 2 peice ones) and yes we have the car, sittin in the show room as i type.
it did have some nasty top end and that was at a supposed 6 psi. the car went 8.90 in testing and made 880hp to the rear wheels, our car ran 9.94 and we slowed it down to about 10.40 for the race as we were told to bring a car that runs 10.50.

I did hear him say that it spiked to around 8 psi throughout the run. That is still alot of hp on 6 psi or even 8. Surely that hp rating was with more boost. But you guys did very good. I loved the car too. Looking good.

Hey Blake, how is it going?

You’re off a little; the Malibu made about 680 on more than 8psi, if I remember it was something like 20psi. Our car did run a 10.80 on just the spring from the wastegate, so we brought what we were told also. The Malibu went 9.06 @ 160 in testing not in the 8s but would have if I had another week to change the gears.

Data loggers don't lie, what you saw was the boost; it did have a great top end. If we had turned up the boost you would really see what kind of power it could make, the turbo was very inefficient at that low of boost.

      Hey Brian
Well the only info i had was off the net and some from Allan ( i know you cant beleave everything you read) but the car was alot faster that ours especially the top end, and we know we screwed up in the negotiations but splitting the differance, but it was crazy action thats for sure. as for the bringing what they asked for we just tried to bring the most simple combo possible with nothing to negotiate off, you on the other had did exactly the opposite ( cudos) i know the "rules" if you can call them that kept changing and i guess they do that to keep everyone guessing????
