New member. and maybe 1st First Gen MC

Hey guys. this is a great club you have. i heard about it through the First Generation Monte Carlo Club i'm in.

I got my monte exactly a year ago. So far it's been just small improvements such as a Eddy intake with K&N air cleaner, Mallory ignition system, dumped the smog system, upgraded the generator, had a 700r4 build for 500 hp with manual valve body, 18x9 wheels with 285/35 18 Nitto 555's all around, eibach springs, energy suspension bushings for all the suspension, and a 5" tach.

The plan is to upgrade the exhaust next with hedman headers and 3" stainless steel pipes, new sawy bar up front, sway bar for the rear, koni or bilstein shocks all around, new paint job, interior, and maybe build a 383. all stuff that takes time and money, but what better way to spend both?!?

I've been checking out all the cars on the site and i gotta say you guys have some of the coolest cars i've seen. I work with BMW's and Benz's. They are some of the best cars when it comes to handling and performance, but classic pro-tour is certainly giving them a run for the money and looking awesome doing it.

Keep up the great work guys. It's a pleasure to join you here and learn what i can from you all. Hope i can be of some help also.

Very nice. The old Montes are cool. a 70 is on my list of cars I want when I have the time and money after the Camaro is done.

How about some underhood shots too.

Do you still believe in all the things that you stood by before? Are you out there on the front lines, or at home keeping score?
Do you care to be the layer of the bricks that seal your fate? Would you rather be the architect of what we might create?

Under shots are coming up soon. again, this is an on going project so it's mostly stock under the hood with just a couple add-on's.
