71 Pinto. Blow thru turbo 2000cc,5 Speed from a fox body, Wheels from a Turbo Coupe, 8 inch from a Mustang 2, Sway bars from a Mustang 2.
The rule is measure twice and cut once. My problem is I still measure with a mic and cut with an axe!

I wonder if a pinto body would fit on an escort (ZX2) or focus platform?

69stang, I ended up stripping the interior out of the car and putting two fiberglass dune buggy seats in it. I was trying to get it as light as I could. The brakes needed up grades so I took some front brakes from a Fairmont and it worked that way for a while. I looked for more power so I went the bigger is better route and put a Caddy 500 from an Eldorado, TH400, Jag Rear end, Some knock off Z06 wheels. Made it a completely different beast.
I am still looking for pictures of the car in mockup running pics. I lost most of my stuff in one of the fires we had here in California.The rule is measure twice and cut once. My problem is I still measure with a mic and cut with an axe!

A couple of shots of project flatliner it is currently in mock up form but drivable in this pict. currently under the knife.back on the road soon.
the entire motor bay is being completely revised as you see this.
