      68 Camaro coming together

but still a long way to go...

Dubbed "Vertigo" due to an inner ear virus I had 2 years ago which gave me severe vertigo for several months before calming down. I try to have a sense of humor about it now.

The car is being built by a small shop in Carson City, NV and I just got some updated pics of the suspension this week.

I picked up a ProCharged 406 (was in Don Estel's 69 Camaro and built by Jody Bernard) on this board a few weeks ago. Dyno'd at over 700 rwhp with the 14 psi pulley, but of course Speed Merchant didn't save that dyno run, only the one that made 683 rwhp. Go figure...

Picked up some custom-built stainless stepped headers on ebay last week for a good price.

The subframe is nearly done with AirRide Strong Arms, QA1 coilovers, Unisteer rack & pinion, Hotchkis sway bar, Wilwood 12" rotors w/ 4 piston calipers.

The car came with a Currie 9" already installed with Wilwood discs and 3.89 gears.

I am heading up (4 hour one-way trip) to see the progress and make some interior and exterior decisions in 3 weeks. Looking forward to seeing my car in the flesh.

See the link in my sig. Hope you like it so far. It sure is a chore selecting so many parts of a build, but it's a lot of fun too.

Thanks for looking - comments/questions are encouraged!
