      Jet Technologies superchargers?

Just came across this ebay auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/T-5-S...76866841QQrdZ1

Anybody heard of these guys or the quality of the product? They seem to offer a wide range of kits for many cars, and it says they can do custom work at no extra charge. For the price, sounds too good to be true. Whatcha think?

from the vane geometry alone I can't see it performing better than existing centrifugal superchargers already on the market. He also makes some questionable technical assertions in his ad. Plus, he refers to it as "this baby" WAY too much. I'd at least try to find someone with direct experience before dropping that kind of cash.

A product that like that requires a HIGH level of engineering that most people don't have...he doesn't seem to state what qualifications he/she has to properly design something like that.

Further reading of that leangthy paragraph tells me he has no engineering experience.

My thoughts exactly. I was just wondering if anyone had heard of this guy or his product. I am in the market for a blower for my LS6, but it will be either a high-helix Magnacharger or a Kenne Bell. If I were going centrifugal, I would stick with a proven unit like Vortech or ATI. Just thought it was interesting to see something new.

That makes me think...... maybe I could talk them into giving me one to promote their product and spread the good word?

Probably not, but it's a nice thought. I wouldn't pay to be the guinee pig, but I'd do it for free

Old Skool straight-vane impeller. Stay away. There is nothing revolutionary about this - even Procharger moved away from its last straight vane after the P600 and older model P1.

No reason whatsoever that this should be "the best of both worlds", ie. low end torque and top end boost. Ain't happening and only a fool would state it.

It mentions that the LS1 corvette kits are sold out. Though there are no installation pictures or testmonials not to mention dyno results. These would be the first advertising tools you'd want to show when introducing a new product.
