Houndstooth Racing Seats and Rear Cover

Here are a couple of pictures of some seats with houndstooth inserts and a rear cover for a 69 Camaro coupe customer of ours. If anyone would like something similar let us know.

Same dough for red simulated leather and red/black houndstooth?

I'm 6'5" and like the info on your site about bolting the seats down without brackets to keep the seat height down. I need that.

As we mentioned in another thread, houndstooth material is going up in price. We cannot offer this pricing any longer. We have orders that should use up the balance of the white hounstooth we have in stock. For any future orders we will have to check availability and pricing.

Any idea on the width? Lets say uh,, I'm not petite and not height challenged.

If we do not alter the bottom bolsters the general feeling is 38" waists and up usually feel they are tight. I have a 37" waist and they are ok for me. I was planning on modifying the frame on a set and pitch the bottom bolsters on more of an angle to see if that makes them more comfortable for bigger guys. I will let you know what I find out.

I wear a size 38 jean so I'll bet it' tight. Most bucket seats like this are too tight. Let me know what you find out. Looks like it's time to sell my flofit seats. lol

I asked about selling different seats just because I am size 38 waist and other seats can accomodate me better. If you can do this mod, you can also count me in along with Larry.

We modified the bottom of one seat making it 1" wider. We had quite a few people sit in it up to 42" waists. Everyone seemed to like it but these were people used to sports car seats with side bolsters so that should be kept in mind. I will take pictures of different size people sitting in the seats next week to help people visualize. I look forward to doing business with forum members.
