      exhaust tip exit

ANyone have any pictures of running exhaust tips through the bottom of the rear body panel on a 69? I ahve seen it done on Datsbad's "fuel" but wanted to see if anyone else has done it with a different style tip?

Trying to decide what looks good.

I am thinking the same thing on my 68.... I know one of Jody's buddies had it done on their 69. But the panel was done by Marquez Design....

I have been Photoshopping a bunch of different tips with them both coming thru the rear valance and at the bottom. I am beginning to think that the car just looks a lot cleaner with no visible exhaust. THe marquez car looks nice, but only because they completely re-did the rear valance and under belly to fit it.

I put some pictures of my ideas, curious what you think? THanks to whomever's car I am using for picture!

I brought mine out the back, I am going to finish them off somehow when I paint the car. Randy

I vote for option #4 that's pretty close to the ones I want to use from a LS460 2007 model....

Here is a link to my site: www.lateral-g.net/members/mitchell. The third thumbnail from the bottom shows the exit holes but the tips are not installed yet. They are the same shape only 1/4" smaller all the way around and have a rolled finish. Somewhere I have a picture of them mocked in.
