      Project Phoenix is alive

      well i finally got to fire up my merlin 540 and it sounds great.still needs a little run time to seat evrything but i am happy with the sound and great throttle response http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ka79-c5OL4U

      nekkidhillbilly it is a firebird but i wanted power rack so that is the reason for the merlin 540.bad bowtie i am very happy and glad to see you noticed how great the throlltle response is.i caint wait to get it on the road

      it is a factory stainless tank with a stainless sump i made myself.listen to my great sound thread i posted.

      540 cubes,merlin 3 block,rhs haeds w/320 runners.bullet solid roller cam 244/256 and lift is .630/.630,950 quick fuel carb dynoed 751hp and 720 torque on pump gas.

      I had my own 540 Built this year using all Dart stuff.

      Have you driven the car yet?

      Once you do you will never want to get back into anything else.

      The 540 combo has so much torque!!!!

      I can be driving at 85mph and still put the car sideways
      Documented 302 Z-28 car updated restoration underway.
