Rear disc brake question
I installed a Currie 9inch with wilwood disc brakes in my chevelle and now it feels like the rear disc brakes are dragging. Anyone know what could cause this? I am running factory manual disc brakes on the front right now with the rear wilwood disc. I am just using a factory distribution block. Will a proportioning valve fix this or is it a different problem?
Thanks

Check the master cylinder
If your car had drums on the rear with your old axle then there should be a valve in the master to maintain approx 4 psi in the rear brake circuit. This should be the reason the rear calipers are now dragging. See if you or someone can remove that valve or change the master to a four wheel disc type.

Its under the drivers seat, bolted to the subframe. A little gold colored thing with your 1/4" rear brake line running in and out of it.
