      compression guess??

I have a sbc...with 64cc vortec heads...a "thin" head gasket with .038" compressed height...and flat top pistons with 4 valve reliefs.

I got some new heads...Dart Iron Eagle 215's...with a 72cc chamber...and a "normal" height head gasket. The same pistons will be used...

Here is the question...I want to run a weiand 144 blower on this set up with the dart heads...will I have too much compression?? Im not sure of the compression numbers with these set ups. What do you all think??

Here's a link to Pat Kelley's article on dynamic compression. and a link to his compression calculator at the bottom of the linked page.

With this you'll be able to calculate your static and dynamic compression ratio. I think you'll need a dish piston with that blower, but I'm no expert in about forced induction.
      Good Luck.
