      First post project 57 caddy

I recenty just picked this car up, Its a 1957 Cadillac Series 62 2 door hardtop. At first I wanted to go back to original but since have decided thinking about protouring. It will be a looong project but my plans of right now are a fuel injected 502 BBC, 4L80E trans, and a highly moddified suspesion. Any ideas would love to hear some insight. I wanted something different and I think ive fund it. Only problem is no aftermarket parts are available that I could find.

That's a really cool car. I'd go back to original on it. I love those Fifties caddies!

Now that's what I'm talkin about!!! What a great project!

Yeah, definitely talk to Jeff at www.schwartzperformance.com.
Check out what he did to this Caddy... http://www.schwartzperformance.com/cadillac.htm

Instead of dropping in a 502 you could keep it all Caddy and go with a 70-76 Caddy 500 and add a FI system.

Stomp the 502 with a well built 500+ Cadillac to tug that cruiser right. You nabbed a cherry of a car; a group of simple brake and chassis upgrades will make that baby steal the show

EDIT: Yes, Jeff's "Attack" is badass - a HUGE inspiration for my '83

Very cool! Looks to be a fairly rust-free car too, good score!
