      Neutral safety switch

I am finishing up wiring with a new american autowire kit in a 69 with a t56 chevy/viper trans. What is the best way to wire up a neutral safety switch in this particular application? I have a wire marked solenoid and is connected to it and i have one marked neutral safety switch. This is where i got lost in that i don't know what and where to connect these to make it work.Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know if your car actually came with one when running a manual. That being said, I would use a brake light switch mounted so you need to have the clutch pushed to let it crank.

      Hi.

The wiring in the trans in too light of a gauge and this must be done with a relay. There are so many additional questions we need to ask you about the set-up of your trans, and a few other things, before we can recommend a solution, so I'd ask that you please call us 800-482-WIRE, and he can help you with this.

      Thanks!

In 69 they had a Clutch Safety Switch, any reason you couldn't use one on a 68? Especially since the AAW kit has provisions for it.
