.
The ECU might or might now have the firware version marked on the back. Version 1.x is old stuff, 3.x is the Pro and should be marked on the back.
The injectors should have the size lazer engraved on them, 24, 42 etc.
Other than the injectors and in rare cases the MAP sensor, all kits should be the same. I'm assuming he's showing you pictures to see what intake it has.
