Guys. Guys. Guys. Does it REALLY matter who we play? There is only one name engraved on that trophy.

      Go Bucks!

Yea, your right on one point, the National Title in '97 was shared, Michigan just got lucky that they played WSU in the Rose Bowl, instead of getting their butts handed to them by Nebraska in the Orange Bowl, like Tennessee did!!!

      LOL!!! Touche my friend, touche.

Although that would have been a VERY interesting match up, Michigan and Nebraska.

      Not this year...

      Not for the National Championship!

"Hail to the Victors" would imply that TSUN won something...
They didn't win the Big 10, they didn't win again OSU and they're not going to the National Championship...

If you're not a winner then your a... Wolverine!

      Go Bucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok msgt Ingle.. because you are my elder and ranking nco I will try to give some resepct here ... Being that you have a few years on me you should remember more games then I do .. and if you look Michigan has a commanding lead in the history of their meeting. You can not judge a war by one small battle but when one side consistantly wins over a long pierod of time then you know who the better team is... GO Blue !!

100% agree Tony, it should always be decided on the field, not by some voters and a computer program! Since my wife is from MI, we were hoping to see U of M in the National Championship, it makes you feel for the kids that laid it on the line on the field! Anyway, I will be anxious to watch the spanking you guys give USC in the Rose Bowl!

Maybe from 1897-1950, but since then it has been 28-27-2 in favor of OSU...hardly commanding.

I will let our 6 (soon to be 7) national championships since 1950, and 6 (soon to be 7) Heisman trophies vs
*ichigan's 1/2 and 3, (un)respectively tell the story. *ichigan may have started the tradition, but OSU perfected it. As long as Gomer Pyle is in charge of Blue, OSU will keep on winning.

What's up with the refusal of the Wolverine fans to accept facts? It is the way it is. U of M DIDN'T EVEN WIN THE CONFERENCE. Get over it guys, you really don't deserve Floridas spot, I'm not a fan of any of the top 4 teams, a third party if you will. I can see it clearly without school colors getting in my field of vision. If the tables were turned, the Wolverine fans would be silent. Shhhhhh!!!

I am afraid of FLA. They were my pre-season favorite to win the whole shibang. It should be a really good game.

The only issue here is that they have no conference title game, as in the SEC and the majority of every other big conference. Technically speaking, I have never understood how you can compare a conference champ if you have no title game, regardless of what happened during the season! After seeing FL play ARK in the title game, it further enhanced my feeling of this will end up being a blow out for OSU. In a perfect world of college football, FL and MI would be playing the +1 game for the right to meet OSU in the championship game. So, until that time, everyone will have an opionion, just like everyone has a pooper!

I'm hopeful this game is not the blowout some of the enthusiastic OSU fans think it will be. I'm remembering 3 Rose Bowl games in particular:
      1971: Stanford 27, OSU 17.
      1975: USC 18, OSU 17.
      1976: UCLA 23, OSU 10.

In all 3 games, Ohio State came into the game ranked #1, with their legendary coach Woody Hayes at the helm.

As Charlton Heston said in Armageddon: "It has happened before; it will happen again."

I'm hoping it happens again this year.

HAHAHAH I severely doubt it will be a blowout. We are not playing Notre F-N Dame this year (I LOVE Michigan compared to them). Florida has a lot of speed on the corners. OSU is going to have to spread them out quite a bit. The real challenge will be the Florida front line. If they can stop the run, it will be veddy veddy interesting.

It is interesting how Woody didn't win the big games... Tressel and Troy, however, OWN the big games...

Down here, Meyer and Leak have the same rep. Florida has never gone 6-0 against Tennessee, Georgia, and FSU at any time. Until Meyer arrived.

They seem to be a tough, gritty bunch. It's different than the Fun-n-Gun of the ole BallCoach.

      1 month from today ... can't wait!

Why don't teams in the Big-10 play their entire conf?

And, what's with throwing teams like Bowling Green, N. Illinois, Cincy, Vanderbilt, Central Michigan and Ball St. in as your out of conf. games.

      Pansies.

I'll take a team that schedules ND, Ark. and Nebraska for their out of conf AND plays their entire conf during the season.
