biggest tires can i fit
i have a 79 olds im going to put the slp zr1 wheels ,the 17 by 8 front and rear ,what is the biggest tires can i run on my car with out noching the frame im looking at a 275 -40-17 an the rear and im woundering if a 255-40 -17 will fit the front .

I have those wheels on my '88 Monte SS. The only problem with that is the 275 is too wide for an 8" rim; every tire manufacturer recommends a 9" wide rim. You can go 255/40s all around. They might rub in the front when the wheels are cranked all the way in, but should be fine otherwise. The rears will fit no problem.
