That is Redline's car. You can get all the info you ever wanted in Super Chevy I think. I know most of the specs off the top of my head-what do you want to know?

That is the Redline Oil Chevelle. Built about 5 years ago. 100% Hotchkis suspension. Built on the pages of Popular Hot Rodding. Email me.

Ahhh, yes. The Redline Oil Chevelle. That's the car that made me want to build my '70 into a Pro-Tourer. That car is to me like the Mule is to all the Camaro guys.

Keith, it's all bolt-ons. The rear is a FAB9 with all Hotchkis bolt-ons. The brakes are all Baer track series. All Hotchkis front arms and urethane bushings. IIRC the sta-bars are Hotchkis bars as well. Running 17X9.5 and 17X11 with 275/40 and 315/35's respectfully. T56 with a 502. The guy from Redline claims using the ass-o-meter that it is as fast as his C5.

Wow, that's awesome!! Mine won't make as much power (550HP) but I am going with some nifty fabbed stuff up front which might level the difference in tire size. I'm running 17x8.5 and 18x9.5 with super sticky 265s/295s respectively. Hmmm. Was it able to achieve a lateral g? I can't find a site dedicated to the car and I'd love to know more. That's a beautiful car...jesus.

The whole build up can be found in the winter 2002 copy of "Chevelle". I have it front of me, I can copy the whole article and send it if you want. I don't think they ever did any analysis other than some ass-o-meter testing at Buttonwillow.

I'm pretty sure it has a 540 Merlin in it. I love the car, but to this day I still find it kind of hard to believe that they did that to an 11,000 mile original-paint LS-6.
