gas tank removal
Is it really as easy as it looks? just the two straps, and filler neck??

Wires? what wires would be hooked up? i though it had a cable style gauge.

Two wires are hooked up to the sending unit. The ground wire is usually screwed into the rear frame somewhere and you should be able to see and disconnect that before dropping the tank. The other wire runs to the rear wiring harness where you should be able to unplug it.
