      feasibility question...

      ok, this is gonna sound pretty crazy





      we have a 65 ranchero, and would like to make a tow vehicle out of it...

      how stupid would it be to but a ford turbodiesel, an allison, and a big ass 9 inch in it?

      Yep, you're nuts--that thing would sound hilarious! You should also include smokestacks and dually's! And a 2" solid steel plate bed for weight so you can get some traction!

      Me and some friends want to do a Duramax turbo diesel 2nd-gen f-body, 1000 lb of torque would make for some sweet burnouts!

      Sounds interesting! I think the only issue would be all that weight in the front bending stuff, and being able to actually town anything of significant weight...
