      Another newbie here

      Hi to all!

After more than 20 years of having only old BMW 2002 project cars, I have gotten the Pro Touring fever and am actively looking for a project car. Being a GM fan, I'm thinking about doing something different from the frequently seen Chevys and am becoming interested in maybe an early 70's Firebird or a G Body LeMans.

Back before I concentrated myself on Bimmers I had owned a '71 Chevelle, '72 Mustang and a '72 Dodge Demon 340, so I am no stranger to V8 power. However, technology nowadays is so advanced from those days that I ask you guys to bear with me while I get up to speed!

      Thanks,

      Harry

Welcome Harry, sounds like you've spread the wealth with muscle from the Big 3. Nuttin wrong with that! I really like the cars you are interested in buying....I'm a sucker for 70-73 Firebirds.

Welcome! I think a Pro-Touring BMW would be cool too though, maybe a 635 with an LSx and a 6-speed?
