Spring recommendation for 2nd Gen Z28

I'm currently "restifying" my 79 Z that I bought new. Car is an origianl 350 4 speed with a/c. I'll be transplanting a 509 BBC with AFR aluminum heads, aluminum EFI intake, and a VA Frontrunner system. The battery will be relocated to the trunk. I want to re-use the Koni shocks currently on the carand instal Speed Tech upper A arms I e-mailed Global West and they recommended their S8 springs up front ( I couldn't find them on their website) and their L3 springs out back with the DelAlum bushings.I would have thought they would recommend their CAT 5 setup out back.
This is for a street car using 18"wheels ( C5 brakes).

      What do you guys think?

      If I'm not mistaken the S8 is 850 lbs/inch
pretty stiff for a street car
GW tends to reserve reccmending the Cat V leafs for the racecars... the bearing does make a lot of noise.

Thanks Lowend, thats a pretty stiff spring. I wondered about bearing noise / wear with the CAT5 rear springs. They show the S7 for street use, no mention whether it's for a small or big block. I figure I'd be closer to small block weight with the battery in the trunk and the aluminum pieces that are on the engine.

So.... stick with their S7 springs ( no specs on this either) and their L3 with Del A Lum bushings? I'm open to suggestions here. I know that BBC and handling don't usually go together, but I want both.
