      1st gen weight distribution.

What is the stock weight distribution front to rear for a 1st gen F-body?

I don't know about stock, but mine weighed in like this with LS2, T56, full DSE tubular front suspension with coilovers and a fiberglass hood. It has very little stock interior, pretty much carpet and a pair of lightweight Recaro seats and a rollcage.

      LF 811 RF 786
      LR 706 RR 723

      Front 1597 52.8%
      Rear 1429 47.2%

      Total 3026

Oh yeah, the battery is in the trunk too.

I would like to know stock as well.. I hope my weight is right around what Van's is. With the big block, gear vendors, TH400 and Dana 60 it was 3420..

I can't find it right now, but I believe a stock first gen camaro had a front weight percentage of 57%.

Here is some data from CarlC's 68 Camaro:
      Full tank of gas.
SBC 406 with aluminum heads, intake, wp.
Tremec 5-speed with steel bellhousing and aluminum flywheel.
      4-wheel disk brakes
      Aluminum radiator + electric fan.
      Relocated battery.
      PS cooler and reservoir.
Oil cooler, remote filter, and associated lines.
PS, Hydraboost, Ford lightweight MC, PS cooler.
      No A/C.
      Subframe connectors.
Stereo with remote CD changer and amp.
Fold down rear seat, Sparco front seats.
      Aluminum rims.
      Aftermarket front A-arms.
      RS equipment.
      Steel cowl induction hood.
No attempt at seriously taking weigt out of the car.

      Total weight 3523#
      1897# on the front
      1626# on the rear
53.8% on the front, 46.2% on the rear.
      RF 948#
      LF 949#
      RR 824#
      LR 803#

      With me in the car:
      Total weight 3707#
      1983# on the front
      1724# on the rear
53.5% on the front, 46.5% on the rear
      RF 958#
      LF 1025#
      RR 861#
      LR 864#
67 Camaro RS that will be faster than anything Mary owns.

Another 25# can be taken of each rear measurement, total 50#.
