      Pro IDontKnow!

Saw this cruising on my way home from Daytona, thought my brothers at Pro Touring would appreciate it. Sad thing is, it was damn clean!

That's actually not a real bad looking example. Usually they have about $10k in Rimzzz YO! on a clapped out whooptie worth a small fraction of the price of the Rimzzz.

      Donked.

      It can be fixed.
Yeah, but the car isn't the problem: it's the owner's preferences that need fixing.

Did it have 22" disk brakes? If so, that is pro-touring to some folks

Hey, I think it looks good. I think the overall Donk scene is dumb, but that was a good mix of big rims without being obnoxious on a very clean looking car.

Actually it did not look bad, it was cruising the interstate at 80MPH no problem, however I supect he is severly brake limited! Not nearly as stupid as the 77 impala fastback at my stereo guys shop with 28s!

Same religon, different church. I dont like the car but the guy is still a gearhead. Think of how easy it is to wax the sides and detail the undercarriage!

      Dont do that please....

. Life has a learning curve and its up to the owner to do as he pleases. Dont let our love of the pro tour style or look make us as shallow as those who talk "rice", or old school or clones vs original. We and I in particular tell my boys not to judge others and appreciate the simple common thread we share. Making a ride "MINE" and loving it.. phil

Hear! Hear! I used to hate the hydraulic jumpy thingy majiggers. But several years ago my thoughts were changed by a young man at a cruise night. While walking around I heard the distinct sound of large electrical arcing. I walked over to see what was up and began talking with the fellow. Turns out he had spare relays to fix the problem he was having. After taking an interest in his vehicle and discussing all the work he had done mechanically, I could look past the fact it was not my thing. He was very proud, and I could appreciate the engineering put into his car. When it comes down to it, we are all car people. Now I will admit, I have much more tollerance for someone who actually knows how to work on there car and can at least carry an intelligent conversation about said vehicle.

As far as the big wheel thing, well anyone can bolt a wheel on a car, at least I hope they can change their own tire. Sigh.......
