      Mickey Thompson Murders

      http://www.laweekly.com/general/feat...st-turn/14781/

Just found this story from the LA Weekly about the Thompson murders. Very interesting story. NSFW language in the article...

That's a long read. I was hoping the end of the article would have some sort of resolution. It's too bad more circumstancial evidence hasn't been found with all of todays advances in investigation technologies.

Terrible story! So, does anyone know how the trial went or how it is going? I would love to find out how this ended.

I just read the whole thing and, I didn't even know this was still going on.
I wonder if the movie rights have been sold yet?
I would like to see this become a movie.

Circumstantial and nothing hard to make the connection. If he did do it, too bad the investigtors couldn't get any more on him.

If this was the guy that ordered the murders, I hope he goes away for a long time.

CNN.com is reporting that the jury returned a guilty verdict for Goodwin.

Wow, 20 years later. I just hope they got the right guy. From all accounts it looks like they did.

Anyone else watch the "48 hours" episode over the weekend?

That was the weekest case I've ever seen. No evidence linking Goodwin to the murder. He got screwed.

Yes I did, very interesting but there was new evidence that got the conviction. I guess they failed to disclose that in the special.
