I'm almost positive that ATS offers the service to install these studs in their spindles: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

its $100 from them, or $22 from summit... I bet one could use a stack of washers and pull the stud into place with a lug and some anti-sieze.

      I'm sorry if I'm c-blocking business tyler !

Hell with that, I can machine the hub, and press the studs in, way better than the washer nut job, and a lot less work,

      Thanks for the link,

If you end up doing that let me know how it turns out and what problems if any you encounter.

I'm thinking the shank of the stud is larger than stock?

Any resolution to this? I am thinking about getting new 1/2" studs to match the rear....

When I ordered my ATS spindles I paid an extra $100 to have 1/2-20 studs installed (to match the rear studs). The new studs are 3" long with a bullet nose end and appear to be ARP.

make sure you verify rotor clearance before tightening wheels, the arp 1/2 studs have a knurl that is taller then the thickness of the hub so it sticks out of the hub around 1/8th, however most rotors clear, the willwoods on volt68s camaro did not, the rear of the rotors has to be countersunk

True, but not the 1/2-20 screw-in studs, ARP#100-7704. They may be obscenely long, but you can always trim them to any length you need to work for your application. Most wheels with center caps will interfere.
      It's what I does.

they were referring to the press in studs that ats offers with the spindles, thats what i replied to, not some other combination. and i am not talking about stud length i am talking about knurl length

Yep, we use ARP studs. The hubs have to be machined to get the correct interference fit. Drill sizes will allow too much play, so they get milled out, hence the $100 upgrade. Jake is correct on rotors, make sure the rotor face is seated against the hub. You can oversize the rotor holes to fix it.
