California Prune Juice
How the hell do you CA guys run your cars on 91 Octane. I planned on cleaning up the car and taking it out into the Panamint Valley and hammer it up and down the Road Warrior-ish blacktop they've got out there. The first time I laid into the car it was pinging like a Pachinko machine. Luckily we've got a VP Racing Fuels gas station in town. I limped in and filled up with 95 Octane.
The car ran like a top after that with no overheating or brake fade. Anyway, why is 91 Octane your...I mean our Premium?

I wouldn't mind knowing either, but my car ran fine on 87 when it did run. AND.... We've got PLENTY of other cars running on 91 pretty well. I guess that's why we're bringing some modern tech to our cars now.
