      project pheonix update

      looks like color will be shot an monday,here is a pic of the fenders with the heat extractors blended in and firewall

      Nice! How did you blend in the extractors? I am guessing you used one of the panel glues (Sem or Fusor)?

      the extractors are bolted on,as for the rest i will ask the bodyman what he used tomorrow when i pic it up.the glass work he did is great it looks like the extractors were stamped in the fendres and the are functional.

      Yes, he did a great job on the extractors. I'm curious too to know how he massaged them in. Looking forward to seeing more.

      the inside of the bird has color,4link bars and core support.here is the result,i cant wait to see the whole thing together.

      Thanks restomod, but I am totally jealous of your build. You are getting your shell back and can start actually putting it together. Mine is in the "black hole" called the "bodyshop" where time seems to stand still and estimates and promises don't seem to mean much.

      I have to say it again though, LOVE that color. Keep the pics coming and I will live vicariously through your build.

      thanks for the kind words guys.the bird is home now and 69 ta it ws in the body shop for eight months so i know about the black hole.
