      Selling vehicle on ebay

Is there a way to limit scammers from buying your car on ebay if you have a buy it now price? I ask because I had a suburban listed with a buy it now and he used it. here is the body of the email I got from him, also he had no feedback.

I will be sending payment of US $500.00 via Money Order/CashierCheck shortly.

i am relocating to United Kingdom and i need you to help me on this. As i am preparing for last exams in My Master,s Degree And at the same time balancing the account of the company i am currently working for. your payment will be via cashier check or money orders on United States Banks cashable the same day and the shipping cost will be included. So as soon as you receive it, cash it and will make arrangement for shipping. Reconfirm your address for me to issue your payment and send

      Thoughts?

Tell him yes and to send the check to the following address:

      1300 Summit
      Kansas City, Missouri 64105-1362
(It's the FBI field office in Missouri)

Then leave the listing up until a real buyer contacts you.

Put on the add no one with less than x amount feedback can bid, if interested to contact phone number before placing bid . I find this on quite a few motor sites , all deposit to be placed through paypal and full funds paid on collection within x amount of days.

I have been in that situation several times. They are very smart, and they are willing to write you an essay explaining the methods of payments might they might be willing to use..

I have been in a situation where I received a counterfeit cashers check, and he asked me to cash it. In fact, that check included an amount which was twice as much what I was asking for my car..

It is all BS, ask him to send a check, then you know what I am talking about.

Those people think that everybody is stupid
