      Dragstrip times

Had some tire spin off the line but it ran really well though.

Hi Brian, It is not finished yet. I have the glass in but not the interior I just had to see what it would run before winter sets in. Shay

      Jimmy,
It's a 69 Camaro with a 502 and an F-1 Procharger making right around 1000hp (IIRC). I've been looking forward to seeing this car done since seeing the pictures of it in the buildup stage on the "Cars" page when I joined the site a couple years ago.

All of the glass is in the car now, Hey Ralph, I bought some centerline ventura's 16x9.5 and 26x11.5x16 ET Streets for this. They look pretty good if you leave the center cap off. Shay

Excellent Shay, thats one of my favorite cars on this site. Looks good AND hauls ass.

Your 1/8 mile is an approximate low 10 second 1/4 range, probably in the 10.30 area.

Did you have to adjust any of the suspension components to make it launch better? Is the car a manual or auto?

      Thanks Guys.

Tony, That is the first time at the track for the car. It ran straight and true though so no changes yet. I have some video from the rear leaving the line that will be posted when I get the tape to Scott [XCYZ]
I would like to get it around some 6.30's or better when all's said and done. And then drive home with the A/C on. Summer time of course for the A/C though. Shay

Sweet, Shay! That's probably the exact same tire I'm going to run at the strip, since no one makes any reasonably sized (that I've found atleast) 16" diam. slicks.

I have more info on Lateral-g.net, scroll down to the current projects under Campbell. The backspacing is as follows. Good luck Shay

P.S. Do you have enough cars? I can barely keep one going. haha
