      T56 conversion parts

      Here are a few pictures of the parts that I got from Weir racing prodicts to convert the LT1 style T56 to an early SCB. With these parts I am able to use a standard clutch instead of the puller style.

      hydraulic TO bearing installed;

      Bell housing installed;

      Front cover installed;

      T56 Conversion Parts

      How do you like the quality of the parts? Have you finished the install? Run into any problems? Did you have to shim the TO bearing? Would you recommend this product to anyone else? I talked to them today about this kit. It was 620.00 and another 70.00 for the master cylinder. Did you buy it straight from Wier or through some dealer? Anything you can share on this would be great.

      I have only mocked the parts up and so far they look good. I can not really make any reccomendations until I get everything mounted and adjusted. I did buy directly from Weir and they were highly recommended. I'll post more as things develop.
      Sorry I could'nt be more help.

      I'm using the same setup as above but setup for an Olds engine. Haven't installed anything yet though. :(
