Need help with rear spring measurement

I need help figuring out the stock length of the G-body el camino rear coil springs, non cargo.I plan on buying some new rear tru-coils from speedway motors and I want to lower the rear 3" I have a 2" inch drop on the rear now but I have no idea on how many inches long I need to get from speedway without knowing the factory length,Does that make sense? May need help with load and rate too to keep it from bottoming in the rear..

You also may want to check with a company called coil spring specialties. send in your spring. Tell them how much lower you want the car to set and how you want it to respond. they will measure the load rate of you spring as a starting point and fit to your needs. hope this helps.Tim
