need info on 05 ls engine
i bought a engine and trans. im tolded its from a rolled over 2005 trailblazer 5.3 2wd. my ? is the oil filter is in the middle of the oil pan and im not sure if my cross member is going to be in the way of the filter. would a different oil pan and pick up work or would i have to use the one thats on it now any help would be great thanks guys

You can use the pan, pickup, and windage tray from a Camaro or Firebird. The Corvette pan assemblies without the bat wings will work too.

Depending on where your crossmember is, the GTO pan might also work for you. It's a front sump. You can use whatever you want, just make sure that you match the pickup to the pan.
