      Spare tire?

OK I'm just getting into this custom stuff, I've always restored to stock. I'm planning a 68 Barracuda coupe project. I plan on moving the gas filler tube to the rear of the car behind the license plate like on my 68 Coronet convert. I will be removing the tire hole in the trunk floor so I can hopefully use a Coronet tank as well. This will give me a lot more room for the rear suspension.
Since I will be going to the largest rims that look good and low profile tires I was wondering what the pro-touring crowd are doing for spares? I see so many cars with trunks filled with sound systems. Are most people bagging the spare and figuring on just waiting for road service or what?

Some people are using stock gm spares from cars with big brakes. I think a bunch more have no spares. I have a 16x7 rim with stock backspace that just clears my 13 front discs, and matches my 17's in looks and in sidewall heigth. FRANK
