well that shows how much I follow the Blazer crowd. What is that the smaller version of a Z71?

Yes, ZL1 was an engine but there are only two vettes ever built with that engine. The allure of the name is so great. It just sounds good too.

Never heard of a ZR2 before I have seen an original ZR1(not the 90-95 model). Very sweet car even though it needed a full restoration.

      Amen to that brotha.

      What about L88?

What about Z06RS - Porsche is coming out with the GT3 RS next year with higher hp, cage and better suspension. Austin Martin has their DBRS9 - factory race car for the GT3 classes in Europe.

Offer this bad boy with a factory cage, good seats & 4 pt harnesses and it would be an "RS" Z06.

      name that car

i like the ZL-1 name, if ford can bring the gt-500 back, why not bring the baddest model(s) back for gm to represent a new era,,if they stick the motor in both cars(camaro and vette), it only makes sense to do it......its a catchy name and anyone who loves those cars, knows in 1969 they where ment to be the baddest of the bad,,ZL-1-#1 proved that back in 69' on the track, period.......

Call it the Zora. Ferrari made an Enzo, why not call it the Zora? Of course a lot of the general public would be left scratching their heads.

Though isn't the 'Z' in ZO6 already a reference to him? I am not sure.
