Aluminum makes the best base for door panels, kick panels. We have used it for years.I have been making molds for a couple of months for the first gen camaros,i am waiting for all the bids to come back on lay up,this way we can keep doors, kicks, consoles, package trays, and rear panels in stock.i will also be producing seats that will be cut for the floorboards.will be posting results in Jan

I used black waterproof board to make mine. I bought it at local uphostery shops, did my whole interior myself (except the stitching on the seats)

I ordered all my foam and material from www.interior-supply.com

We hired a in house fiberglass guy as I was having a hard time getting stuff done through the sub shop. So he will be on that project as soon as he finishes the wing. I also need to have a pow wow with the panel designer to see what we can do to get the plugs finished as that is like pulling teeth also.
