      It sure changes things.

On Sept 15th my 1st child was born into this world. Tinsley Mitchell arrived 5 wks early but still 5 lbs and 18" long. At that size the wife is grateful he didn't go full term. We are happy as can be and everyone is doing well. It's a little hectic around here as we were supposed to close on a new house the day he was born. So now we are in the process of getting the new house ready to move in and selling the one we are currently in while the wife taking time off from work with the new baby. Here are the obligatory pics from the proud papa.

DOH!! That's what I get for posting early on a Monday morning. On the plus side Scogin918 you will get to keep all your hair in its natural color. Having a daughter can be extremely hard on a father when you know what many (all) of the teenage boys are thinking about...

Everything changes. And it only gets worse. The more mobile they get, the more attention they need. But it is the greatest reward on the planet! Congrats on your little bundle o' joy!

Do you still believe in all the things that you stood by before? Are you out there on the front lines, or at home keeping score?
Do you care to be the layer of the bricks that seal your fate? Would you rather be the architect of what we might create?

Thanks for the support guys. I actually look forward to Mondays now so I can use waking up early to go to work as an excuse to sleep. On the weekends we alternate shifts at night. I've got a whole new respect for my wife and for what she goes through at night. He is a cute little fellow, but I'm surprised by how much he has grown in just 3 weeks. I don't want him to grow up too fast.

As for the car, well for now it's just a car. Once we get settled in as a family and in the new house, then I hope to be able to make some progress on it. Hopefully after the 1st of the year.
