My dad and I have named a couple of our cars, not many of them though...

'05 Mercedes E320 CDI - "The Bus" because its a diesel and its the car we use mainly to go to California and back.

'06 Dodge Ram 2500 CTD - "The Rig" also because its diesel and the bus was taken.

'06 Jeep Liberty Diesel - "The Short Bus" because the rig and the bus were already taken and it is WAY smaller than the Ram 2500.

'03 Nissan 350Z Twin Turbo Track Car - "Double-Down" because thats the name Modified Magazine gave it when they featured it. Probably because I live in Vegas.

The rest of the cars don't have names, we just call them by their model...

      '04 Infiniti G35 - "The G"
      '05 Corvette - "The Vette"
      '05 Benz SL500 - "The SL"
      '06 Audi A4 - "The Audi"
      '92 Lexus LS400 - "The Lex"
      '70 Chevelle - "The Chevelle"
'65 Shelby Cobra (Superformance Replica) - "The Cobra"
      '69 Camaro RS Z-28 - "The Z/28"
      1970 Chevrolet Chevelle

No such thing . Two more should be added to that list in about 6 months, and then the G35 will be swapped for something else by then as well. We have a sickness...

I think names are a little wt, it reminds me of all the hillbillies giving their monster trucks girl's names or naming it "thumper"

Mine was named because of a discussion with my older brother about my plans for the engine being a 632 big block, I said "it should be quite a ground shaker" and he looked at me with a grin on his face and just said "EARTHQUAKE".
72 Nova SS, on the back burner for now.

      current cruiser: "The green machine"

'70 Impala 4drht, 26K original miles, 2" drop springs and large swaybars, drives pretty good for a land yahct in the middle of an ls1 swap, but thinking about changing directions to a duramax diesel swap.

I don't think I can print the names my wife comes up with for it. And that's when she's in a good mood. (This is her when she gets my credit card bill for the car)
Robert's 1969 Camaro - 2002 LS1/T56, 10pt cage, Global West Stage III front suspension, HTH truck arm rear suspension, Sprint Cup 9" full-floating rear end, Fikse Mach V 17" up front 18" in the back and still working on it...

My wife is a redhead and named my car "The Other Redhead" for obvious reasons. It stuck.
