Hello and looking for 67 68 Mustang projects

Just saying hello. I have been a member for a while, stop in every now and then, never posted before. I have looked through the PT garage and searched quite a few different keywords but not come across much in the way of 67 or 68 Mustangs.

How many of you are working on early Mustangs or know of a member that is? I am interested in anything pre Mustang II but more specifically 67 and 68 projects. I have a 68 coupe that I have been working on for a while that has been quite frustrating lately. I will post pics once I get my image host up.

Anyway, just looking to see what may be out there in what seems to be a predominately GM field.

I am also a member at the following sites under the same screen name:

      Stangnet, Corral, Corner-Carvers and MustangSteve.com

Welcome! and where are you located? There is a 67 (i think) for sale a few miles from me. They wanted, if i remember 6500 for it. From what I remember, it was a older poorer restoration and seemed a bit overpriced, but I do not know those cars very well. I have not driven down that street in a while, so I do not know if it is still for sale. I dont think it would be worth it if you had to ship it or come and get it from far away, but I will try to make my way in that direction if you are in the area and/or interested.

      Josh,

Thanks for the offer. I am not looking to purchase anything right now. I just re-read my original post and can see how it may sound that way. My current project is all I can handle right now ;) I am just looking to see what others are doing with cars similar to mine.

      Whoops. Sorry about that

There are a few Mustangs on this board that are really nice! Hopefully they chime in.

Welcome to the board! Always glad to see a familiar screen name become a member here. And it's especially nice to have another Mustang in the ranks. I saw this thread and thought I'd spend the time to put my junk up in the PT Garage: https://www.pro-touring.com/forum/vb...?do=view&g=333 . Thanks for the incentive, and I'll see you on the board.

Thanks. I'm the same way... I love the variety of cars and ideas here more. I do check back into SN occassionally, but generally wore myself out over there. I just got a bit bored with all the usual questions, modifications, and points of view. Still, every once in a while, when you just need a Mustang fix, Stangnet is the place.

I hang at Stangnet occassionally when I need some strange...I just recently finished my 68 Coupe. I have put about 500 mostly trouble free miles on it and the only real problem was a busted power steering hose.

      Km,

You post under BIG-MAC over there, right? We have gone back and forth through stangnet a few months ago about your suspension setup. I was looking for your car when I decided to start this thread the other day but I was looking under your SN screen name. Your car is exactly what I had in mind when I started my own 68 coupe years ago. I just need to finish it. I found two threads you started one was a "progress" thread and the other was an "update" or "finished" thread both had quite a few pics. Do you have any more?

It just occured to me that you might want to see Brian Cichocki's car, if you didn't find it in the PT Garage list. I love his car: https://www.pro-touring.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6376

I had seen his car over at Stangnet and talked with him through email quite a bit a while ago. I didn't know there was a thread here though, thanks.
