      Anyone into dirtbikes

When I'm not spending time on my lemans or with my girlfriend, I ride my dirtbike. Just wondering if anyone here is into riding. Heres some pics of my cheaper toy.

I ride dirt and street bikes. CRF 450R for me in the dirt and Aprilia Mille RSV 1000 on the street. Looking to get a classic Triumph hardtail bobber to add too. Trails and MX track mostly for the dirt bike.

      Nice looking bike Poncho.

I was heavily into dirt for many years, starting in 1971. I raced motocross, flat track, TT's, and desert back in the day.

I started out on a 360 Yamaha MX, but changed over to Husqvarna a couple of years later.

I really liked the quality of the Huskys. They used the best steel and alloys available. I had several different Huskys, a couple of 250's, 360's, 400's, and a 435. They were all 2-strokes.

My fave was a 360 8-speed.....it had a regular 4-speed trans, but you could change the primary by pulling a lever. The best of both worlds.....nice low gears for the tight stuff, and ungodly top end on the high primary. That bike would do 100 mph....easily.

After crashing many times and healing broken bones, all I did then was mountain trail riding, which here is Colorado is some of the best in the country.

I haven't riden in a while, but the last time I did, was on a friends tweaked 2004 Yamaha YZ250. Wow, what a rocket!

Bikes have come a long way.

Don sounds like you've rode some cool bikes. I'm to young (21) to even know what those were like. I do know that yz is faster than my bike. Steve I've rode in the CT. power lines a couple times, they are better than the RI. power lines imho. I live pretty close to CT.

My brother bought me a used Honda SL125 for my 14th birthday. When we picked it up he said "If Mom creis, we're taken it back!" lol lucky for me she went with it. Tomarrow I get to buy my 7 year old son his first bike and go riding for the week-end. Honda XR50. I don't know which one of us is more excited!

Wow you guys have some nice rides, alot bigger than mine. I have to put a chain+sprockets on and rear tire this weekend, now I'll have some traction. MSchu, supermotard looks like fun, altough I've never tried it.

That Supermoto looks like a blast!

I''ve of course watched the X games races, and I'm amazed at the overall handling of those machines.

I checked out the prices, and they're not real bad. I'd love one on the street!
