      New Shoes!!

First I want to thank SW (He's a Fikse dealer) for being such a great guy and really helping this purchase go well! I owe you a beer or two at SEMA!!!

Ok, what did I get? Fikse Profil 10's w/ Race Black centers. I can't tell you how nice and light these wheels are, quality at it's finest...well worth every penny!! I also dealt with Travis at Fikse since we really wanted to push the envelope on the fitment and get the stance just right...I must have mocked up and measured 14 times!! We ended up with these specs:

      18x9 w/ 5.625" b.s.
      18x11.5 w/ 5.625" b.s.

I've had the tires for a couple months now and should have them mounted on the wheels soon, oh yeah, thanks Scott G. for the front tires...glad we could help eachother out!!

      315/30/18 Pilot Sports

Some of you may remember that I had Intro Pentias on the car before but I thought they didn't go well with the racier, street fighter feel the car has taken on in the last year or so...so they were sold to a PT.com member and this package was ordered. Also, I grew fond of the black anodized wheels and felt it was just right for this car. The car will most likely be silver and I already have the black interior...I think it will all work together well and give me the classy yet tuff look I'm going for with this build....

I'll post more pics once I mount the tires and get it back on the ground...man I can hardly wait!!!!

No, not me, I bought the front tires from Scott G. at Lateral-G.net...he had never used them and went with a 275 now that he sports a Wayne Due SF. The back tires are new from Tire Rack.

From Scott, I was supposed to buy them from him, but, it's been a real bad year for house stuff, now I'm looking at plumbing and a new garage door, thats why I didn't get to go Pigeon Forge. I did get my rears 335/30/18, though, you got the matching fronts, know of any other good deals out there??

they were such a good deal I couldn't pass them up.

      But then the problems started,

wheels look great, liking the black centers, my car is deep fathom green metallic, I think the gunmetal gray would look better,

Looks good, Anthony! The car is really coming along well. You're going with Silver now? Why the change from blue? Silver w/ the black rims will look great (I should hope so at least, my car is grey w/ black rims lol). Keep us posted on the progress. When's the new ETA on completion?

Why the change from blue? Well after having a blue truck for the past five years I'm a little burnt out on blue, I'm in the silver mood at the moment. Although just a few months ago it was going to be Mars Red for sure!! Seriously though I'm sure it will go silver, actually I'm getting a new truck on Saturday and yep it's silver!

ETA? Well I would say next summer I would be driving it, but I just spent my paint money on wheels!! So at the moment I'm just taking it one day at a time and I guess time will tell. I was considering buying the wheels later but I wanted to make sure they fit before paint, ya know incase the body needs massaged. So now I start saving money again!!

Good to hear from you bro!! How's your car coming, is it painted yet??

Ahh, I gotcha on the blue. Cool deal on the new truck, too...what'd ya get?

I hear ya on the saving money deal. Me too, LOL.

Car is coming along good, most of the body work is now done (85%). Should have it in a temp. base coat by the end of October hopefully.

Got an '06 Toyota Tundra Double Cab with a V8 and off road package, hell just about every option really! Wanted to stay GM but MPG over road that. Had to get more cab space as the family no longer fit in the ZR2 S10. Just came in from stripping all the extras (canopy, bed liner, stereo, ect.) off the S10 and I pick up the new truck tomorrow...it's been a good week!!!

Glad to hear you are making good progress as well!! Is the suspension finished??

Front has DSE UCA/LCA and their coilover conversion, QA1 c/o's, Unisteer power rack, Hotchkis sway bar.

Out back is a paralle 4-bar and QA1 c/o's, at this point I have basically hand built most of the rear suspension...lot's of work!! If the Quadra Link was available a few years ago I would have gladly went with it.
