      Product Review.. Global West Subframes..

Well I finally opened my global west subframe connectors.. I was surprised how big they were since Im used to seeing the short little Comp Engineering ones.. they bolt to the front subframe and extend back to the rear frame rails where they are welded on.

A nice design since if it you have to pull your front subframe for any reason its still pretty easy.

The fit was amazing.. we were really surprised how well they lined up and how well the tubular part was bent to clear the floor pan.

You can sort of see them in this pic.. oh and you can see my custom mandrel bent stainless exhaust system with 14" polished Magnaflow mufflers (with x pipe)..

Groud clearance was not overly effected.. overall im very happy.. I think the DS&E system is better but these are a LOT less effort and good if you dont want to chop up your floor..

Oh.. And I finally got a chance to drive the car some.. still a LOT of work but it was nice to be able to drive the damn thing

New updated pics at the site.. got the recaros installed and a few other parts.. :icon996:

      SUPERCHARGER AND NITROS!!!!

Well the thing doesnt even have a sway bar yet and the rear suspension is still in a box.. so it was an easy cruise.. car is not too loud until you get on it then all hell is unleashed and its very loud

Punched it once and it broke loose at 20mph and danced a little to the left.. fun fun fun..

Im sure once its all sorted out and it has the paddle shifting system on it the car will be a blast to thrash on.. I cant wait to hit the tracks..

I would give the Global West subframes the exact same review. They fit perfectly and were very easy to install. Ground clearance losses were minimal as well, my Cal-Trac bars still hang waaaay lower.

Glad to hear you got to drive the car! Thats a milestone to be proud of.
